Why this site:

I created this website to accumulate my random thoughts which often disappear randomly.

Software Stuff:

I am a Software Developer who specializes in building Java based web applications. For most of my professional career I have worked on Apache Struts framework(1.2.x versions). I have been lucky to taste a variety of other technologies and APIs as well like Web Services, Jasper Reports, Scriptaculous, iText, dom4j and Apache POI. Apache Tomcat is the web container I use often and MySQL is my favorite backend. I also like working on other platforms like .NET Framework and PHP based CMSes like Drupal and Joomla. I enjoy installing and maintaining WordPress on my friends’/relatives’ websites.

When I am not doing Software Stuff:

I relax watching TV Series(especially repeats of F.R.I.E.N.D.S.).

I also find a lot of interest in nature, photography and traveling. My wishlist includes travelling abroad(Europe), and trekking ice-capped mountains.

When traveling(either to work or somewhere else), my iPod(with mandatory A.R.Rahman’s albums) comes on top of my checklist. I also like putting my thoughts on paper either by painting or writing.
