My Drupal Site Is Up!!
After 2-3 'weekend' days of continuous hard work(ok.. not that much work) I have managed switch my site from Wordpress to Drupal. Now the question on the minds of people reading this would be, 'Why? Why did I switch?'.
Wordpress is definitely one of the best applications to use when your site is completely blog oriented. Drupal on the other hand is the CMS of choice when you have a site that has to cater to different kinds of content.
My site is mostly blog oriented, but I never was satisfied with it. I wanted my blog to be part of my site. I wanted it to be a personal site and not a personal blog. (Silly! It took me nearly a year after launching my site to figure that one out..)
Anyway, so here's my site, all drupalled up.
The procrastinator is finally a 'Sun Certified Java Programmer'
After 2-3 years of procrastination, I thought of checkmating myself(yeah, weird!!!) by buying the SCJP Exam Voucher(worth Rs.6000) last year(mid-2009) so that I would force myself into giving the exam atleast before the voucher expired(which was 31st July 2010) otherwise I would lose my money...
Well that plan worked!!!..Ok.. to some extent.. 'Some extent' because I didnt give the exam before 31st July 2010, I gave it ON 31st July 2010.. Yeah! I should get an award from the Procrastinators Club for this unique achievement.. Anyway, so.. I cleared the SCJP exam for Java 1.5 with 86 %..(yeah! 86% .. I couldnt believe that score myself)
My preparation:
- Studied the SCJP 1.5 book by Kathy Sierra and Berth Bates 3 times(which includes giving the Self Tests)
- Studied the 'Two-Minute Drill' in the book many times(dont remember how many)
- Tried out a few codes on Netbeans IDE to clear my doubts
- Quizzed myself with Practice Questions available on the net(for free, ofcourse!!!)

When you get this problem, it is either because of some problem in your web.xml file or in your struts-config.xml file
